Doll made out of Clay, armature wire and fabric, 2022 for the Queer Sex exhibition curated by Alannah Cyan at Candid Arts trust.

This doll was made as a reproduction of Claude Cahun’s famous picture where they are dressed as a circus strong man, their shirt painted with the now iconic words “I AM IN TRAINING DON’T KISS ME" for the exhibit “Queer Sex” carrying the theme of queer bodies. I chose Claude Cahun for their exploration of their own gender they defined as neutral.

The doll was created on a very short notice and was one of my most challenging one yet as I attempted new techniques and materials for every steps of the creative process.
