Most days in the game begin in the classroom. It is where the player is introduced to Joseph, where Levi has to make a few big decisions and a place that, despite the player only seeing brief glimpses of it, is where Levi spends a large part of his days.
This is a room that did not change much from its initial blocking version. The vision was very clear from the start, down to the location of the classroom computer and blackboard. But filling it with life and making it look like a used, interactive environment was a fun challenge to take on. The biggest structural change was to move the desks further towards the back wall, to create more navigation space for the player to walk around in due to the space being pre-rendered.
